Rose in the Sky

ROSE IN THE SKY was created with a small piece of porcelain clay, carved by hand and painted with oxides then fired 3-4 times in my kiln. Sterling Silver and Gemstones are used to create this necklace such as Black Obsidian known to have protective properties and creating a shield against negativity. Some Volcanic black stones are also used as they are rich in minerals, porous with raw energy and considered to be a stone of rebirth with its grounding qualities. The small clear Quartz in the jewelry is to bring our body into balance. I love using this big Quartz/rock as a surface to show my work as I want to help emplify the healing energy!
