The Roses

THE ROSES – This little pendant is created with porcelain clay, carved by hand and painted with glazes then fired in oxidation in my kiln. I fired this piece 4-5 times in order to get the effect of transparency. I used a variety of gemstone that I found over the years while travelling in the world. The big pieces of hand carved crystal and black volcano stones were found in Bali and the small pearls from south of Thailand. This necklace is completed with Sterling Silver. It measures 17 inches long once it is around your neck. This is a style that I enjoy wearing with a few other chains to give a romantic boho look.
